Groups discuss overlaps in these areas:  Political Violence, Language Policy and Methodology
Language & Violence:  a discussion of research that involves language and its role as a cause, consequence or key factor in political conflict and violence.
Language & Policy:  a discussion of how language issues affects the development of government policy, analyses of government policies on language, and other issues that pertain to language and law and policy.
Research and Methodology:  a discussion of research methods used in linguistics and political science, where these diverse tools overlap, and how each field might profit from the methodologies of the other.
